just yesterday, i participated in a netball competition to complete with ppl (mainly all managers) for a game called Union Management Games
Objective : to bond and interact with one another and build relationships
there were a total of three groups named as SPWU (i was representing this), POU and MANAGEMENT
you must be wondering what do they stand for:
- SPWU is Singapore Port Workers Union
- POU is Port Officer Union
- Mangement is just management lorh
basically, both grps POU and management ppl are mixed (all managers), it wasnt really fair but still dont really see the diff -.-
and FIRSTLY, i really really want to thank God that i didnt sprain my ankle!
before the match starts right, i prayed in my heart, we dont have to win the competition as long as everyone is safe and not injured..
i mean .. correct right? injured alr still can play meh?
so safety first, den SECONDLY comes the winning of the game..
i felt really tired, even doing ball passes with Eugene continuously i told him to stop
sian, i am not prepared for the matches and really i wasnt... damn tired to run and so for cases i dont need to run i just walk, opponent scored, i walked back and felt sian ahahha
I WAS SO SO HAPPY THAT I SCORED THE FIRST GOAL FOR MY TEAM AND FOR OUR FIRST GAME BEFORE OUR OPPONENT!!!
*clap clap**
i remembered i ran for the ball and shoot inside, but miss, it hit against the ring, but my grp mate named as Ganeson(whom i knew through INTERNSHIP) helped me to get the ball and suddenly threw at me and said "eh you shoot la"
i shock cos i didnt expect it and laughed for a while hahaha ok, just shoot... AIM (>.0)
all i heard was the crowd : go shoot, and eugene : go sophia, you can do it, shoot!
and shoot! and the ball went in OH MY GAWD! both hands raised up high and i shouted WOOO hahaha
shld have ran ard the court like footballer player but hahah too extreme
HEHE yayyyyyyy, thanks all, without ur support, that ball might not even go in ahha
i was impressed with Cess's play (whom i met through a JO orientation course), and i was so glad that she remembered me haha like "ehhhh sophia right? omg how are you", such question like this is really comforting to me
although we lost to POU and lost to management BY ONE SCORE (like what the heck right?)
i was so angry! i was so disappointed! i was BU GAN YUAN!
but i cooled down and told myself Team Spirit is something better than losing a game, right?
more of sportsmanship and playing a friendly match and being cool
some ppl anyhow play, bang into you like really siao one, and some just dive down without getting the ball -.-
pissed me off, i just told them indirectly like "eh, be careful, play safetly, its ok take ur time, dont rush, relax la"
i really meant it in an angry way lorh but when i am angry, ppl dont even know -.-
but overall, SPWU still won in the end
the other games were futsal, soccer, badminton, darts, wii games, carrom wooo
cheers to SPWU, my first time ever to participate and my first time holding that trophy tgt with the Regional CEO of PSA, is damn shiok lorh HAHAHA

Today:
i was so tired at work, cant concentrate, worse is dont feel like doing ok but i know i still have to do somehow
wasted alot of time being a messenger -.-
walking here and there.. sian!
but this is work, sometimes things dont go the way you want it but come on, face it, nothing satisfies the whole world and you can never satisfy everyone.. agree? actually both meant the same thing!
went to church after that and the pastor's preaching was really good
i was tired but i was quite focus during his message
hard to find such pastors.....
he mentioned this:
(Philippians 3:7-9)
7 But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ--the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.
its like who will say such things in the bible, i read this part before and got impressed and it made me stay so positive.. and then i got reminded about this passage again
every single thing cant be compared just to know this special God
being accused, being abused, being left out, being hated, being anti-social, being "useless", being "lack" of talent, cant be compared and so much more cant be, you can list them all
